Getting started
Build the integration in layers. Prove request construction and error handling in the simulator first. Then obtain an approved application credential. Production access stays restricted to the scopes and capabilities assigned to that application.
1. Choose the environment

Approved application credentials only. Production capability can differ from sandbox simulation.
2. Use integer minor units
Money is represented as integers in the smallest currency unit.

3. Keep request IDs
Persist the request ID returned by the API so errors and reconciliation can be traced precisely.
4. Make writes idempotent
Reuse the same Idempotency-Key for the same logical write. Do not
generate a new key after an uncertain timeout until the original operation has been
reconciled.
